Hacienda Iluminada, the 787 Coffee farm in Maricao, Puerto Rico

We are farmers. We are roasters. We are baristas. We are caffeinated humans that support a from-farm-to-cup coffee experience.

It started on one coffee farm — Hacienda Iluminada, our own farm — growing, processing and roasting specialty coffee at 3,000 feet in the mountains of Maricao, Puerto Rico.

  1. 2014

    We start farming our own land at Hacienda Iluminada, 3,000 ft up in Maricao.

  2. 2016

    First café opens. The coffee on the bar is the coffee on the farm.

  3. 2019

    New York City. Born in Maricao, raised in NYC.

  4. 2024

    Thirty-plus cafés across New York, New Jersey, Texas, Puerto Rico and Mexico City.

  5. 2026
